Turning a Tiny Bathroom into a Luxurious Haven

Everyone deserves to have the luxurious bathroom haven of their dreams but, unfortunately, not everyone gets to experience the indulgence of a palatial bathroom. However, those with tiny bathrooms shouldn’t feel hindered from creating a spa-like haven.

While space may be limited, creativity is boundless.

In some cases, it is even advantageous to renovate a smaller bathroom. For example, the cost of materials is lower for a small space since you need less—so you can splurge on that lavish marble countertop or intricate mosaic tile without paying as much as you would for a larger bathroom.

Glass Standard

Whether your tiny bathroom has a walk-in shower or a combination tub-shower, using glass doors keeps the full expanse of the room visible for a more spacious feel. If you feel like taking it a step further, you can adorn your shower in white tile to create a bright and airy aesthetic.

Let There Be Light

For those tiny bathrooms with minimal to no natural light, the right lighting choices can maximize the space while providing the necessary illumination for your daily wellness or beauty regimen.

Recessed lighting or sleek modern wall sconces are great options for saving space while providing ample light.

Shelve It

Storage is the real headache of any bathroom, especially if it’s a tiny one. There’s no room for clutter in a tiny bathroom. To best utilize the space, make the storage you do have multi-functional.

Treat Yourself to a Smart Shower

You can install a fully customizable smart shower and/or steam shower to really amp up the luxury. With a digital shower and steam generator, you can personalize your bathing experience from ambience and mood settings to music and sounds. With the ability to activate steam at any time, you can even cue that extra touch of home spa relaxation.

It also pairs perfectly with the aforementioned glass shower.

Shelve It

Storage is the real headache of any bathroom, especially if it’s a tiny one. There’s no room for clutter in a tiny bathroom. To best utilize the space, make the storage you do have multi-functional.

Create sleek, open shelves with well-placed essentials and décor pieces to free up more visual real estate. Extend the counter over the toilet tank—though it’s small, a little extra shelving goes a long way.

And most importantly: be creative.
